When i declined numerous times attitude changed negatively. Also when signing documents just told to sign in various places but with no explanation on what I was signing for. Don't get the access insurance instead save by doing it yourself at www.carhireaccess.com who were $44 cheaper than Alamo. The Chevrolet mini bus I booked did 13.5mpg to the gallon so its thirsty. Good job petrol is cheaper in the usa than the uk. It's about £0.56p a litre compared to £1.32 in the uk.
