Good service, but wait time was a bit long.

1. We booked a 5-seater Land Cruiser on the QEEQ website, but the actual store only had a 2-seater Cruiser, which couldn't accommodate our group of four. We then switched to an XC70 model, but due to either unclear communication from the staff or our misunderstanding, we thought the 938 NOK fee was the total cost, but it was actually an additional charge. 2. On the return day, due to unavoidable circumstances (ferry from Reine to Bodo was canceled due to strong winds), we had to drive back the same way we came from Lofoten Islands. Although we tried our best to return on time, the 8-hour delay resulted in an extra day's rental fee. It is unreasonable to make us bear this cost.

Pick up was fine. A little tuition about the car would have been helpful as unless you drive particular models there are variations which can baffle. Our main issue though was directions back to the drop off point. Sat nav didn’t take us to the right place. Directions generally in Norway seem to be less than perfect though.

I did ask AVIS about Deposit Amount, because it was important for me. I was hardly find any contact and waste a lot of time to this. All contacts, except of facebook, generate answers by robots, such as "you question is very important for us". The operator at facebook answer was "sorry, your question is out of my competence". On another side, manager on pick-up was competence and gentle enough.
