I booked a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but they gave me a selection of very poor SUVs. In the end, I could only choose a Mitsubishi Outlander, an SUV that costs less than 200,000 RMB in China and has very poor power. I paid a lot extra to choose a Grand Cherokee. If cheap and expensive cars are treated the same, then why differentiate them during booking??? Very unreasonable.

The counter staff was not very friendly when I was picking up the car. They immediately recommended an upgrade, and when I declined, their attitude worsened. They then suggested buying additional insurance, and when I refused, they started mumbling. Now, Alamo offers self-service kiosks with Chinese language options, so I recommend using the self-service machines.

It was quite convenient to get there from the airport, and the pick-up process was simple.

Very convenient. Twice returned the car, each time took less than 30 seconds.

The front desk said the booked car model was not available and tried to upsell a more expensive model instead of trying to solve the issue within the booking terms!
