Renting the car was very convenient, I was worried because my English isn’t good, but it was very easy and great

I saw that online reviews for this company were not very high. When I arrived at the store, I was told that the Ford EDGE model I had booked was unavailable and that I had been upgraded to a Volvo CX40. At the time, I assumed this was a free upgrade (since in hotels and car rentals in China, if the original room type or vehicle you booked is unavailable, upgrades are generally free). After picking up the car in the parking lot, I realized that the Volvo CX40 was smaller than the original EDGE, and my luggage wouldn't fit. So, I carefully examined their receipt and fee details and discovered that the upgrade to the Volvo CX40 incurred an extra charge of $48 per day—almost double the original price. I returned to the counter and told them I wouldn't accept this arrangement, after which they switched me back to the Ford EDGE. This indicates that they must have had the EDGE available from the start but intentionally claimed it was unavailable to lure customers into upgrading with hidden charges. After returning to my home country, I discovered that, in addition to the amount I had already prepaid through the rental platform, they charged my credit card another $326. About $100 of this was for an insurance upgrade, which I accept, but the remaining $200+ was for unclear charges. I am currently disputing these with the company. This rental company has serious integrity issues, and I advise everyone to be cautious when choosing them.

The accident occurred around 4:00 PM on July 14th. After the accident, we tried contacting Thrifty car rental multiple times, but no one answered the phone. Even after the Las Vegas police issued the accident report at 5:58 PM, we still couldn't reach Thrifty. The police then called a tow truck to the scene, but the customer service from Zuzuche back in China advised us not to let the police tow the car. The temperature in Las Vegas that day was as high as 40°C, and we waited in the heat for a long time. It wasn't until 10:00 PM that Thrifty’s customer service contacted us. A tow truck finally arrived at 2:40 AM the next morning to take the car away. Our group of 10 was exhausted by the time we returned to the hotel. The 10-hour wait for assistance is completely incompatible with the service image of a major company like Zuzuche. This made us extremely uneasy about the remaining 10 days of our trip. Many places in the US (regular roads, highways, and tourist attractions) have no cell phone signal. If similar incidents were to occur during our trip, we might be in life-threatening or helpless situations. This led us to return the other car to the Las Vegas store early. We are extremely dissatisfied with your powerless apologies.

It was strange; after swiping my credit card, they asked in Chinese for 200 dollars cash. My daughter communicated over the phone and they didn't charge it in the end. I have some doubts...

Very poor. They told me the booked car was unavailable and tried to give me a random beaten-up car instead.
