The order was for a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but they use this car to attract attention and induce bookings. Upon arrival, they directly said they didn't have this car, and even said they didn't have a Santa Fe, which was in the same group. The staff kept emphasizing upgrading the car group. Unfortunately, I didn't stick to my decision and got persuaded into paying an additional 553.14 USD. There were no directions given either; I had to find a Dodge Journey SXT by myself in the parking lot. There were actually several Grand Cherokees parked, but they might not have been ready for rental.
We had to wait for 40 minutes to pick up the car. The staff suggested switching to an Audi Q3, claiming the pickup truck would take a long time. Do they think Chinese people are naive? I insisted, and they showed no remorse—it was clearly intentional to make us wait. The car we got was an old model, unlike the one in the photos. I've always favored this company, rented from them twice in 2019 because of the convenient self-service kiosks. Now, dozens of kiosks are there but unusable, and their service has significantly declined, though the car condition remains their only advantage. Truly disappointing!
