Picked up the car at the AVIS counter in Munich Central Station. There were two cars to choose from, both upgrades from what I reserved. I chose a high-end automatic diesel S-MAX with navigation. The staff was friendly and provided detailed vehicle information. They also gave me a parking card and a map of the garage. When returning the car on a weekend, the store was closed, so I parked it in a street spot near the entrance and put the keys in the drop box. The staff called me the next day to confirm they had received the car. The whole process went smoothly. One star is missing because I couldn't upgrade to a BMW or BENZ in Germany, which was disappointing.

I booked the car just one day in advance, and when I arrived, the Opel I reserved was not available. They replaced it with a new Mercedes VITO at the same price. The service was great, very satisfied.

It's not far from the airport exit, and there's hardly any queue. The car is very new, with only 9 kilometers driven. Both picking up and returning the car are very simple and convenient. There's an ESSO gas station right next to the airport.
