Everything went well and the pick-up/return process was quick, easy and honest

Car was fine. Ace staff were extremely pushy on upwelling insurance

Booking was perfect

We have used several times. Due to this and our yearly car hire excess insurance, we no longer get the hard sell for own car rentals unnecessary insurance which we have found stressful with other companies. The car was very clean and in excellent condition.

Price drop protector was really good - we did pay less than initial booking price. Would definitely use again.

Le tarif paye sur internet était le plus compétitif mais une fois l’option super assurance et pas besoin d’etat Des lieux de retrait et de retour le tarif est nettement moins compétitif du fait de l’attente.

Absolutely terrible. Non trained employees. I was told the car is not insured at all and it took me 45 mn to get the keys.

It was not clear Ace was part of Goldcar. Felt completely mislead, that we had booked a car for a certain price, but when we got there we had to either put down a deposit over €1000 on a credit card (that we couldn’t do) or pay insurance of over €120. We were told by the rude desk staff that it was in the small print and we should read them better. It was mis- selling and we will never use you again. I actually want compensation as I’m so angry and it ruined our trip.
