Easy to book and 95% helpful

The Black staff member was very easygoing and hardly pushed for insurance, which was great. Hertz is much better than Swift. That company uses tricks and threats to make you buy insurance, refusing to proceed with the process and stalling until you demand to see the manager—it's all a pre-planned, ridiculous act.

The customer service still tries to sell other products.

Excellent service. Since it was my first time driving on a toll highway and I didn't know how to pay, a Hertz employee was very helpful and called to pay the toll for me when I returned the car. I'm truly grateful; they saved me a lot of money. For future visitors driving in the U.S., if you don't want to take the highway, set the GPS to avoid highways. If you're okay with highways, remember that at toll booths, you have to exit the main line to pay and then merge back in.

It took a little longer than normal because my rental was one-way and the car they gave me was privately owned. But they made it work and I got what I needed.

Much easier to use than the Hertz website, and reasonably priced compared to my other option in the area. I was charged exactly what I booked online.
