Service OK, be aware of fuel charge after return

Domestic cars are truly impressive. I originally rented a basic Kia small car at this level, but when picking up the vehicle, I was surprised to find a mid-size SUV from the Chinese brand Chery. The car was quite spacious and had advanced smart features, including lane change assist, lane keeping, cruise control, a large touchscreen with phone connectivity, power seats, and keyless entry.

The pick-up location is right across the arrival hall at the airport. Just cross the street and you can see several car rental signs. I originally rented an Outlander but got a brand new Forester with just 2000 kilometers on it. It has a lot of space, great horsepower, and the AWD is really smooth.

Horrible Chery vehicle. Worst car ever hired.

Poor communication to customer I requested for a Mercedes Benz and on nowhere on my booking confirmation that it states clearly that I must have a credit card. I was denied the car of my choice as I don’t have a credit card. They did not accept my debit card. The manager at Europ car classified your website as “dodgy website”. There was no mention of a specific amount of deposit, I was asked to pay $500 before they can release a car of my choice even though I’ve been denied my preferred car- Mercedes’ I was given a car called GM, which took more time for me to understand it’s logistics and I have a child with me I rate this the worst travel ever

Great car, but they charged us for 6 litres of fuel just after we filled it where it clicked of twice at the pump. An issue to still be resolved with Europecar.
