Very convenient. You can take the rental company's shuttle directly from the airport and arrive in just a few minutes. At the rental company, you can complete the rental process on a machine without needing to go to the counter. Both picking up and dropping off the car are very convenient.

At LAX, the entire car rental process is self-service and very convenient, no need to queue. There are staff available nearby to provide help and guidance. I used to use BUDGET, but I’ll switch to ALAMO from now on, very satisfied. The order was for Toyota Corolla or similar, but I got to choose the car myself and picked a Chrysler 200. After a day of driving, the oil light came on, so I went back and exchanged it for another of the same model with only 9000 miles on it. It was very comfortable, and the price was unbeatable. Drove for 10 days, very comfortable. Highly recommend using QEEQ for bookings, the prices are really good, cheaper than other websites I’ve used before.

The self-service rental machine is very easy to use and convenient, saving the trouble at the counter.

Overall, it's pretty good but the wait time is quite long, and the self-service machines are not very user-friendly.

Economy car booked at LAX. On arrival counter clerk tried to get me to up-grade to a Compact car, saying it would be roomier and more comfortable over long distances at an additional cost of only so many more dollars per day, which I declined and said I would stay with the Economy car booked, asked about cruise-control and was told that only Full-size cars had cruise and would do well to upgrade to one [ at extra cost of course. ] I again declined and was then given a Compact car, at no extra cost. Why ? Because they did not have any Economy cars, having previously tried to get me to pay for an up-grade which they were bound to give me gratis anyway ! Nice try Alamo. On checking 5 different makes of Economy cars, I found that they ALL had cruise control, making the counter-hand, at best, woefully ignorant of the features of the vehicles Alamo rent out, or a deliberate liar at worst. Commission-hungry rental agents who are prepared to tell customers anything to boost their income do little to maintain the reputation and integrity of Alamo. I have taken the matter up with Alamo and am waiting for their response, but thought I should advise you of the dubious methods being practiced there.
