Better communication needed . Why wasn't I charged the price I was quoted??

Firstly it was very hard to get in touch with the Avis staff at Kununurra. The 2 phone numbers when I tried to call prior to the trip had messages on them stating that the phone message box was full. This also happened when I arrived at 11am to pick up the car (.When I returned the car the message bank still hadn't been dealt with and there were other frustrated people).Finally I talked to the cafe worker who knew the Avis rep and he called her. She said she was on her way and would be 5 mins.By this time it was 11.30.She was pleasant and apologised but I expect more professional service.

“I'm not happy at all with Avis Perth DTN staff that attend to my reservation”

I was billed extra USD214.29 though I only asked to add GPS rental to the car that I thought I have fully paid for to Easyrentcars. . No explanation or information was given to me for the amount billed to my credit card. I'm still waiting for an explanation from Avis.

“Better check that all the customer requirements are working and in place”

When I was at the counter they suggest me an upgrade and i accepted. When I took the car, Toyota Kluger. I asket to the people in charge that the GPS was not working. They said to me to go out because insede the parking it was not working. I went outside and be onthe road but it did not work and I had some trouble to find the way to get home. Police stop me and ask me to go back to airport because I did not know where I was going. I went back to airport and AVIS people find out that the car was without GPS card and that's why it did not work. So that I had to wait for another car coming in 15 minutes. In total I have lost one and half hour before I could be ready to leave the airport with a working car .
