I rented a S Max but was give a C Max and was told that C Max is what I have rented despite S Max is on my rental agreement. I can't refuse it because there is no other vehicle available. We needed the space of a bigger car with 7 people and luggage. You can imagine how close it gets to being not possible to fit everyone and thing in it, which means the trip cannot go ahead.

“Great rental deal but charges for 2nd driver excessive.”

The booking was great but we were somewhat surprised that to add my wife as a second driver would have almost DOUBLED the rental!!!!! The practice of charging an advance for fuel of 5 euros per litre is excessive but does ensure the vehicle is returned full of fuel. The representative who accepted the returning vehicle was very helpful and came out to check that the vehicle was undamaged and full of fuel.
