We are canadian and this was our first time with RIGHT CARS. With other car rentals, we don't pay extra for the insurance and we show proof of our canadian insurance. The person in charge would not let us pick-up the car because we were not insured with an american company. After a long discussion and being asked to make an authorization for 2000 $ on our credit card, I phoned EasyRentCars and registered a complaint. I called a friend to pick us up since we were stuck with no car. In a last attempt, the lady asked to see our voucher and finally said that the 2000$ was guaranteed by EasyRentCars in our voucher and finally let us go with the car.

“They charge me $10 extra for insurance even i show proof of my own insurance .”

The counter staff service were very rude . They insisted that I have to show the coverage limit of my insurance . Even I called my insurance to show my coverage to $300.000 for injury and $100.000 for property damage still was not accepted from the staff service . I was forced to pay $10 extra for additional insurance . Also I Ordered Hyundai Sonata and I got a Nissan Versa with 36.000 mileage with body damage and a lot of problem in driving .

Terrible service, very disrespectful. not pleasant one bit, customer walked out and cancelled booking because of bad reviews on Right Cars. I agree, will not rent there anymore, rather pay higher price, with people who are respectful.

“Easyrentcars needs to stop doing business with Right Cars -- they are a bad company.”

It's a scam. The price seemed good, and they said they require proof of insurance. I brought the proof when I went to get the car, but at the counter they said I needed a half a million worth of coverage (I'm not even kidding) and that I would need to buy their insurance, which was much more than the car rate itself. Of course I turned it down, and will never go again.
