This was my first time booking with this company because the one I used during the Lunar New Year was less satisfactory, so I decided to try this one. Overall, it was okay. When picking up the car, I didn’t see a self-service machine, so I had to interact with a staff member, which was a bit awkward. Their attitude wasn’t great. For the car model, they asked us to check online for differences instead of showing us photos, which other companies usually do. Also, they kept trying to upsell an upgrade, and it was easy to misunderstand since they mentioned it several times and my English isn’t that good.

At noon on Friday, there were hardly any customers at the counter. Providing a passport, credit card, and driver’s license was all it took, and we clarified the insurance and unlimited mileage terms before finalizing the contract smoothly (if no one is available at AVIS, you can also check with the Budget counter next door). For later issues, you can simply contact them via WhatsApp. When my tire was punctured, AVIS staff told me to visit a tire shop and then call them. They directly communicated with the shop over the phone, and the tire was repaired for just 100 EGP.

The influx of people arriving in Los Angeles is huge, and it takes three hours in the morning around 7 a.m. As a result, there are many car rental customers, and the store has long queues. Although I informed the store staff that I purchased full insurance through Zuzuche, they still added extra insurance and a refueling service. Therefore, make sure to carefully review the terms before signing during the pre-authorization process!
