You can walk to the counter of OK Mobility - Madrid Airport car rental.

Madrid Airport T1 After leaving the luggage claim area, you will find the departures central hall. Turn to the left and following “ Car Rental Signals”. Continue trough the Rent a Cars Area until our OK MOBILITY store. To pick up your vehicle, go by the door nearest to our branch, cross the street, and once inside the B building, turn to the right until you find our Parking Area. Madrid Airport T4 After leaving the luggage claim area, you will find the departures central hall. Turn to the left and following “ Car Rental Signals” down to -1 floor level trough the escalators. Continue trough the Rent a Cars Area until our OK MOBILITY store. To pick up your vehicle, go by the door nearest to our branch, cross the street, and once inside the B building, turn to the right until you find our Parking Area.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

EU/EEA driving licenses are valid for car rental across the EU/EEA, as well as in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Spanish digital version of the driving license is acceptable. The driving's license must be shown from the official DGT App.

In the case of crossing into permitted territories, we recommend purchasing the International Supplement (INT). This supplement extends the rental terms and conditions to adjacent countries, provided they are one of the countries listed above, and under the coverage and liability conditions agreed upon in the current excess (as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions and the traffic regulations of the country of use are adhered to). If this supplement is not purchased and an accident occurs, the Lessee will be fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle, repatriation costs, and/or the total vehicle cost, as well as compensation for any damages caused. The vehicle may not be boarded or transported by any means of transportation without the prior written authorisation of the Lessor.It is prohibited to cross borders outside the European continent. For price and details of INT, please consult the staff at the counter.

The car rental company is outside the airport, and you need to take a bus to get to the rental point. It took some time to adapt right after landing and the wait for the bus was quite long. However, once at the rental point, everything was convenient with no need to queue. The staff were also very nice.
