Q1.What is an insurance excess？
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

The staff at the registration window were really unfriendly and had a strong “just doing my shift” attitude. We arrived about half an hour early to pick up the car and they still refused to let us take it, saying we had to wait until the exact time. Funny enough, when returning the car they were totally fine with doing it early. Overall their attitude was just so-so.
The staff at the actual pickup area were much nicer, and the return process there was really smooth. Overall it was a good experience and very convenient.

Rented a car for 11 days and it was honestly great. First off, they didn’t try to push any extra insurance or add-ons. Then they upgraded my car, and it turned out to be almost brand new with only about 500 km on it. Returning the car was super quick too — they did a quick walk-around, said everything was fine, and I was done in under 10 minutes. The deposit refund was impressively fast, it hit my account the next day. I checked the breakdown and the difference matched the highway tolls exactly, so there were no hidden charges. I’d originally been worried about surprise fines or penalties, but there were none.

Front desk service was decent. We’d booked the car for 11:30 pm, but even though we got to the branch at 11:10, they still wouldn’t let us pick it up early. The paperwork was quick and easy, but the pickup spot is a bit confusing—you have to walk out of the terminal, cross the road to the parking building, and the signs there aren’t very clear.

They took a €125 deposit and gave it all back with no random extra charges, which was great. I’d really recommend paying for the full insurance at €21 a day—when you return the car you just walk around it once and you’re done. Just be aware there’s basically no service. We rented a child seat and the staff just handed it to us, said “finish,” and disappeared. The buckle on the seat was a bit dodgy and we spent a good 7–8 minutes trying to get it set up properly. The car we got was in so-so condition too. Not long after we started driving, the tire pressure warning came on. We checked and there was no visible leak, but later realized the tire tread was almost worn flat. No wonder the car felt like it was slipping a bit on mountain roads. Luckily nothing happened. When you pick up the car, really check it carefully, especially the tires, and insist they change the car if something doesn’t look right.

I originally booked a BMW X1, but the branch must’ve been out so they upgraded me to a 3 Series. Ended up with a brand‑new car with just over 1,000 km on it, absolutely perfect. Most of the route was on the D400 with lots of curves, and having the 3 Series made it a really smooth and fun drive for our family of three. The only downside was that we had to extend the rental by one extra day due to a change in plans, and that bumped the price up a bit – about 8,000 lira – which felt slightly expensive. Other than that, everything was great.

When you travel, please follow the local rules and be respectful so we leave a good impression for people coming after us. Also, avoid renting from add – when I rented from them later, their staff made some discriminatory comments about Chinese customers, so I really think we should all boycott them.

The pickup process is actually handled in the airport terminal at P3 arrivals, not in the P3 parking area. Because the staff’s English wasn’t great, I wandered around the P3 car park for a while before finally figuring it out with a translation device. The car was a 2024 model and the paperwork was pretty straightforward. They took a €150 deposit; the car had about 50,000 km on it. You collect and return the car on the lowest level of the parking area. The return inspection was simple too — they used a tablet-like device to take photos all around the car and automatically generate the contract, then you just sign. The car already had some scratches, and the staff clearly told me they weren’t my responsibility. The deposit is refunded to your card after about two weeks. Tolls were a bit over €600 and they charged a 20% management fee on top. Overall, this Turkish rental company was decent.

Picked up the car at Izmir airport. The staff’s English was pretty poor so it was hard to communicate, and they didn’t really explain how to get to the car or give us any kind of map. The car itself was great to drive, and even when we had a small accident later on, the whole process was handled quite smoothly. Dropping off at Antalya airport was a hassle though—the rent-a-car parking area was really hard to find, the signs weren’t clear at all, and we spent a long time looking for it.
