Q1.What is an insurance excess？
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

They completely refused to recognize the insurance I’d already bought on QEEQ. The guy said he doesn’t even look at whatever you purchase there and just pulled out their own rules saying I had to pay an extra 40€ for insurance, plus fees for towing, cleaning, etc. It was really late, communication was tough, and the staff barely spoke any English (everything was done through translation apps), so I just paid it instead of arguing. It was basically sign here, sign there, and you’re done—I honestly didn’t fully understand what I was signing. Tip: bring your own phone holder for the car.

Service was generally good. When we picked up the car, we asked if we could return it at the airport, but the rental company said they’d charge a 50€ fee since we collected it in the city, so we ended up returning it to the city location. The upside was that the staff drove us to the metro for free after drop-off, so getting to the airport was still really convenient.

Local Turkish rental company. Super efficient pickup and drop-off, no annoying upsell at all. Staff were professional and quick—probably because of the language barrier there wasn’t much small talk, they just handled everything properly and let you go.
View moreCar was almost brand new, about 6 months old with 15,000 km on it.
It automatically came with Turkey’s HGS toll system. Even though I didn’t see a sticker near the rearview mirror, it went through all the highways and bridge tolls smoothly. When returning the car, the staff used a handheld device to pull up the toll details, showed everything clearly, confirmed the charges with me, and then charged the card.
Fuel policy wasn’t full-to-full, so you’ll need to plan your refueling a bit.
Our car was an economy Renault Clio, basically the national car in Turkey—you see them everywhere. Very easy to drive and super fuel-efficient. It has Apple CarPlay with wireless connection, so using navigation and playing music is really convenient. The in-car charging port is a USB-A, so bring the right cable (not Type-C).
Space-wise, it’s on the small side, ideal for 2 people. The trunk fits at most two 24-inch suitcases plus maybe two backpacks on the side. If you carry more, you’ll have to put stuff on the back seat. Three people is doable but tight; four people really isn’t a good idea.

The staff at the rental company were really friendly and did a very thorough job checking the car. I told him I’d already bought full insurance and he didn’t push anything else, which I appreciated. The only downside was the fuel level was really low when I picked up the car, so I had to go fill it up myself.

Overall the experience was pretty good, but once we entered the airport, an engine warning light suddenly came on and the car started shaking a bit (before that it had been driving completely fine). I didn’t feel safe continuing to drive, so I just pulled over and waited for the staff to come and help. In the end we still returned the car as normal, but this incident definitely affected the overall rental experience.

The guy handling my paperwork kept rolling his eyes at me just because I couldn’t understand what he was saying. Another staff member was really nice though. The car itself was awful – not great for women to drive, it felt like driving a manual. But the price was quite good. We only rented it for a day for a round trip between Kaş and Fethiye. Gas here is pretty expensive, we spent about 200 just on fuel. I originally booked the return for 20:00, but they made me bring it back at 19:00 because that’s when they get off work… seriously, what a joke.

Service at this place was really great, and the location is easy to find. As soon as you come out of the international arrivals exit and follow QEEQ’s directions, you get there right away. The staff handling the paperwork are very professional and efficient, no upselling or hidden fees at all. They clearly explain what charges you’ll be responsible for and ask if you’ve already bought insurance for the car. That’s it—no extra hassles.

Still booked through Europcar. The nice thing about sticking with the same rental company long-term is that if any disputes come up, they can look at your profile and driving history to make a more objective call. Picked up at Istanbul Airport and dropped off at Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport—both pickup and return were really smooth. One-way rental only added about €350, which was acceptable. Car was in great condition and handled perfectly the whole trip.

The first car we picked up had a broken A/C, but the rental company handled it really efficiently and upgraded us to a BMW 3-series on the spot. The whole experience was smooth and hassle-free, and returning the car was easy as well. Because of the rain and snow the car got pretty dirty on the outside, and there wasn’t a car wash anywhere nearby before drop-off, but the staff were very understanding and totally fine about it.

The car itself was in good condition and the staff were really friendly. Europcar has been solid for me – I’ve rented with them in the UK, Australia and Turkey and always feel pretty confident using them.

Queued at the airport counter for about 5–6 minutes, they needed the driver’s license and the little registration booklet, but overall the process was pretty quick. The actual car pickup was at another spot: the airport parking lot (same place for drop-off). The original car I booked wasn’t ready, so they switched me to a same-class Citroën. At first I thought the car was just so-so, but after driving it… wow, it felt like a luxury ride (probably because most cars I saw on the road were quite old). When we drove out to the beach it had just rained and the road was super muddy, so the floor mats got a bit dirty, but the rental staff didn’t make a fuss and just took the car back—drop-off was really efficient. As long as the fuel gauge is the same at pickup and drop-off, you’re good. On the highway, the far left lane is for overtaking, and you should move back to the second lane once you’ve passed to avoid blocking others. We drove a total of 2,839 km and paid about 800 RMB in HGS tolls.
