The overall experience was great. However, I was overcharged $40! I didn't realize this until I got home and looked at my receipt. How do I retrieve the money that I was overcharged? I paid $83 at the time of booking, but was charged an additional $40 on top of that.

Car was very dirty. Also, they did not have the car I requested, and gave me a larger one which used a lot more gas. I emailed their customer service and never received a response.

I only rated the store to boost its score so I could use specific coupons later. The service attitude at this store is extremely poor. I booked a C class car but was given a B class because I refused their upselling. Eventually, a Hertz staff kindly resolved the issue. QEEQ customer service was of no help at all.

The service was excellent. What impressed me the most was that after returning the car, I realized at another rental location that I had left my driver's license and some cash in the toolbox. I went back to look for them, and the staff directed me to the front desk. At the same time, two staff members brought my driver's license and cash (a few hundred dollars) to the counter and returned them to me in person! I was so touched!

Dollar doesn't pressure you to upgrade your car. Last time at San Francisco Airport, Thrifty kept suggesting I pay extra to upgrade to a Kia sedan because the staff thought the car I rented was too small to fit all the luggage and passengers. In reality, it fit just fine.

Right from the start of rental it was indicating need of engine oil change. The indicator on engine oil efficiency was showing 0%.

The efficiency at SJC airport is really too slow! Make sure to leave at least 3 hours. The staff has a good attitude though.

Like: Tim was very kind, informative, friendly and patient. He was very knowledgeable about the process and Airport. He made it very user friendly.
Dislike: The vehicle was not very clean. It needed a thorough washing and better detailing in the inside.
