Highly satisfied. With the full insurance from QEEQ, there was no upselling at the store. Rented a diesel car, which had strong power and performed excellently on mountain roads. Drove 2,500 kilometers around Morocco in 12 days, spending ¥920 on fuel—very economical. The vehicle had already clocked 50,000 kilometers, but the condition was good, equipped with cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, and CarPlay support. There were some exterior scratches, which were documented with photos during pickup. The return process did not involve detailed inspections, just a quick check of the trunk tools and spare tire. Using the Waze app for navigation helps with alerts for speed limits and police checks. Possibly due to the high vehicle category, a preauthorization of MAD 21,600 (¥17,000) was charged. The store confirmed releasing the preauthorization on the day of return (and emailed a confirmation), but it took the ICBC all-currency card 20 days to restore the credit limit. Hence the review here.

Extremely terrible! The worst of the worst! A reminder for anyone renting a car from this company: when picking up the car, make sure to record a full video covering the store, staff, and the dashboard showing the fuel level. When I picked up the car, the fuel level was clearly at 3/8, but the rental agreement stated 4/8. I thought it was just one bar and didn't argue, but when refueling upon return, the cost was almost as much as a full tank. That missing bar just couldn't be filled up, which made it feel like the rental company rigged something. Upon returning the car, they even showed me a random photo claiming the tank was full at pickup, which was laughable. After a lengthy argument, I ended up paying the price for not having taken photos and videos myself. Not recommended – unscrupulous company!

Keddy seems to be a subsidiary of Europcar. The car provided felt somewhat old, possibly passed down from the parent company. However, it offers great value for money with affordable pricing and services that align with Europcar standards. This review is based on personal perspective, and may be subjective. There are several points to note: before renting, the platform informed us the car would have a full tank, but it actually only had 2/8 full. Returning the car with the corresponding fuel level was a bit of a hassle. The rear wheel cover fell off at some point, and upon inspection, the left rear wheel cover was also tied on with zip ties. This wasn’t a major issue, but it was slightly unsettling. When returning the vehicle, I mentioned it, and they assured me I wouldn’t be charged. The car’s initial settings were in French, so I strongly suggest adjusting them before driving. The FIAT500 is semi-automatic—initially a bit tricky to handle as the gas pedal requires a bit more force to get moving, but it becomes manageable with practice. Over 15 days and 2400 km of travel across mountain roads and heavy rain, the small car proved to be fairly reliable.

The service was excellent; just presented all the necessary pick-up documents, and everything went smoothly. There was no aggressive insurance upselling, and the car I got was upgraded to an SUV. It was a 10-month-old car with over 20,000 kilometers on it, but it was in great condition. When returning the car, I had it washed nearby for just 30Dh, and the staff were very courteous. Everything went smoothly. The only downside was that adding an additional driver was a bit expensive, costing an extra 800Dh. The credit card deposit taken at pick-up was fully refunded 10 days after returning the car.

Overall, average experience. I booked a Volkswagen Golf but ended up with a Dacia Logan. The trunk space of the Dacia Logan is large; it can fit three 20-inch suitcases and one 24-inch suitcase. There is no physical offline location or staff to greet you at the airport. I had to ask airport police and roadside service personnel, and use a local phone multiple times to find the pickup point. It’s located outdoors on the opposite side of Terminal 2, in the middle of a parking lot, under a large lighting pole with a display screen. There’s no counter, and the procedures are handled in front of the car. If you don’t speak English, proceed with caution as it’s very hard to locate. Once I completed the paperwork and got the car, the staff left immediately. I couldn’t understand the settings in the car and tried to ask the staff for help, but none of my five or six phone calls were answered. The service quality was very poor. There are two deposit options for the rental—a direct deposit of 1000 euros or a deposit of 400 euros plus a 50-euro insurance fee (this 50 euros is non-refundable). It’s somewhat like a risk agreement where if the car is damaged or fines are incurred, the entire deposit is forfeited. To minimize risk, and given that canceling the booking and switching providers was not an option at that time, I chose the second option as a way to spend less for peace of mind. During the trip, I was very cautious and avoided accidents and fines. When returning the car, the staff said the car was dirty. We mentioned that we overfilled with 270 dirhams’ worth of fuel (this extra fuel was due to miscommunication with the gas station staff who misunderstood our request, which negatively impacted our impression of Morocco). They let the issue go after that.

The service from Hertz was excellent. They paid close attention during the car pickup and inspection process, and even reminded me to record a video of the vehicle at the time of pickup. The only surprise was the high preauthorization amount, which seemed to be around 12,000 dirhams. They explained that this was because I purchased supplemental insurance through QEEQ instead of the full coverage offered by the rental company, and in case of damage, deductions would be necessary. However, the preauthorization amount has been restored since then, which took about one month.

The airport shuttle for pick-up and drop-off takes too long, the pick-up procedure is tedious and slow, and the car is in poor condition. After an accident involving a scrape, the repair fees they demanded were five to ten times higher than normal prices in China. The car I rented had a pipe hanging from the undercarriage, which would cost no more than 1,000 RMB to fix in China, but they charged me $800. Meanwhile, another customer from Hong Kong was charged $3,500 for a scrape, which would cost no more than 2,000 RMB in China! While making money through insurance is understandable, this is beyond reasonable. After taking the payment, I repeatedly asked for receipts but they wouldn't provide them. The issue was only resolved after the Zuzuche platform got involved. I am very satisfied with the service provided by Zuzuche.

Reasons for not giving a high score for car pickup: 1. The store staff were not skilled and needed to call for guidance at almost every step. 2. In addition to freezing the specified amount on the credit card as a deposit, another 33 euros were charged without clear explanation. 3. The fuel tank was almost empty when picking up the car, requiring immediate refueling even though it was nighttime. 4. When leaving the parking lot, we were unexpectedly charged an additional 35 dirhams. Points 2, 3, and 4 are issues we have never encountered in years of international self-driving travel.

Poor service: A minor scratch on the rear of the car resulted in an outrageous demand for €600 in compensation. Although comprehensive insurance was bought through the platform and the insurance company could cover it, the price was absurdly high, practically extortion. There are three main issues that made my experience unpleasant. First, I scheduled to pick up the car at 10 AM, and according to the app, someone would be waiting with a sign at the arrival gate. However, by 10:10 AM, no one was there. After calling, I was told someone would be there in 5 minutes, but they only arrived around 10:40 AM (later I learned that '5 minutes' in Morocco could mean within an hour). At least the person eventually showed up, but they barely spoke any English, only French, and their English was worse than mine, which made communication very difficult. Second, they gave us a car that was half the price of the one we booked, which was an issue because we were five people with four large suitcases, but only one suitcase could fit. We booked a Touareg, but they gave us something completely different and much smaller, which was not even in the same category. When we complained, they kept insisting that they advertised 'a similar vehicle' and not the exact model. I asked, 'Is this really similar?' If they gave me a Grand Cherokee, that would still be acceptable. We then reached out to the platform, which contacted them, and after half an hour, they somehow found an old model... How old, you ask? Well, it had 130,000 km and was full of damages! I took over 20 photos of the damage. I told the platform that the car was too old and in poor condition. After discussions, the platform informed me that they could only guarantee the same model, not its condition. Fine, we decided to drive it. But the worst part was that by the third day, warnings for brake check, oil addition, and other alerts appeared. I informed the platform, and they responsibly contacted the rental company, which responded by saying it was safe to drive. The roads were either mountainous or highways. Thankfully, we survived.

It's actually a subsidiary of Hertz, and the counter is Hertz. There's a clear sign indicating UnionPay is accepted, but the card didn't work. They claimed it was our problem. We called the bank, which confirmed it was their machine's issue. Then they aggressively pushed their own insurance. Even after showing our pre-purchased full coverage from the rental platform, they didn't acknowledge it and forced us to buy their $2000 insurance. To avoid ruining our trip, we had to buy it, which practically offered no coverage at all. The car pickup process was very casual, took at most 10 minutes. Thankfully, we had read reviews advising to take detailed photos of any minor damages, which we did. The return inspection felt like they were checking if their wife was a virgin—extremely thorough, inspecting tires, the underside, the roof—it took almost 30 minutes. There are many police in Morocco. Just remember the saying 'poor mountains and bad waters make bad people.' They'll scam you without hesitation. Do not speed, always stay under the limit. They especially target Chinese. Some might negotiate while others are very strict. After this experience, I will never visit such a country again in my life. I hope the rental platform will ensure thorough inspections or set up dedicated counters in Morocco.
