Highly satisfied. With the full insurance from QEEQ, there was no upselling at the store. Rented a diesel car, which had strong power and performed excellently on mountain roads. Drove 2,500 kilometers around Morocco in 12 days, spending ¥920 on fuel—very economical. The vehicle had already clocked 50,000 kilometers, but the condition was good, equipped with cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, and CarPlay support. There were some exterior scratches, which were documented with photos during pickup. The return process did not involve detailed inspections, just a quick check of the trunk tools and spare tire. Using the Waze app for navigation helps with alerts for speed limits and police checks. Possibly due to the high vehicle category, a preauthorization of MAD 21,600 (¥17,000) was charged. The store confirmed releasing the preauthorization on the day of return (and emailed a confirmation), but it took the ICBC all-currency card 20 days to restore the credit limit. Hence the review here.

The staff was polite. The car initially had a French interface, and even the staff didn't know how to switch it. I figured it out myself.

When picking up the car, the staff at the rental store used a blank vehicle condition sheet to check the car's exterior with me. This made me slightly concerned that if we missed any scratches, there might be disputes during the return. However, during the actual return process, the inspector focused more on the fuel level, vehicle documents, and spare tire/tools rather than the exterior condition. Returning the car went smoothly and didn’t take much time. Also, I noticed during pickup that the tank wasn’t full and immediately informed the staff. They marked it and explained that the fuel level should match upon return. In practice, it’s not easy to refill the exact same level before returning, so I decided to return the car with a full tank, but this ended up with about 5 liters more than needed. Before returning the vehicle, I had the car washed to ensure there wouldn’t be any cleanliness issues during the inspection.
