The car was in poor condition

The Audi A4 diesel they provided was powerful, but the luggage space was slightly small.

Car advertised was toyota corolla or similar. The car I was given was a Opel Crossland. Fuel was not filled to the max. Windscreen wipers needed replacing. Tyre Pressure warning light came on after 1 day driving. No reverse camera. Unable to use a debit card to to secure insurance excess, had to pay for full insurance for complete duration. Only 1 staff member at desk on arrival, took a very long time to process pick-up.

This company shares an office with AVIS. The car pickup and return procedures are quite simple. Overall, felt pretty good.

Car was great. Little car so easy driving in Ireland. We didn't get the VW Up, but a Nissan Micra. Can feel a little under powered, but expected from the small car. Boot fitted all our luggage and car was clean (though didn't have floor mats, which we found odd. Just had to be careful of mud and dirt as it can be quite wet in Ireland). At airport, it was very easy to locate Budget counter and easy to take shuttle to pick up the car. Staff was a bit pushy in selling extra insurance even though we bought off Easyrentcars, but this seems standard across all car hires we've been to. Pick up was easy after the usual paperwork and drop off even easier and quicker.

Would be helpful to have info about toll roads.

Had a bit of trouble finding out in advance what the bond would be on our particular car.

The car only had a quarter tank of fuel despite there being a full tank policy and Budget retained a fuel deposit. However, upon notifying Budget, they assured me that there would be no charges to my account.

Car was new but clutch was not good making it tricky to drive. I drive all over the world and this was the worst I've experienced
