The store is right inside the airport, very convenient. The deposit is low and was refunded within three days after returning the car. Before traveling, I read a lot of negative reviews about other companies, so I decided to rent from Avis in advance. They have a counter at the airport, which is very convenient. The car was new, with less than 3000 km on it. The initial deposit was just 500 RMB; I thought it was a mistake at first and confirmed it multiple times through text messages. The deposit was refunded the day after I returned the car (minus toll fees). During our 12-day road trip, the roads were well-constructed, wide, and not very crowded. Fortunately, we rented a small car, otherwise it would have been difficult to navigate in and out of small towns. Google Maps often directed us to very narrow roads in small towns. The toll fee was automatically charged through an HGS device, and gas stations offered free car washes.

Everything went smoothly. No need to queue for the car pickup, and the store was easy to find.
