Alamo Auckland Airport should have many places to be improved

Pretty good, communication wasn't too difficult. During the rental period, they provided follow-up via phone and email with reminders. An additional driver cost $25 NZD per day. Returning the car was very convenient; I simply handed the key to the front desk staff and it was done. I booked a Toyota but got a Mitsubishi instead, which was easy to drive and relatively new. The staff didn't try to upsell insurance since I already purchased one domestically, so there were no extra charges. Initially, I wanted to rent snow chains but decided they weren't needed due to the weather, so the pre-authorization fee for them was deducted.

The car was dirty upon pickup and we had to return to the office twice to have the outside then the inside of the front windshield recleaned as we were unable to safely drive the vehicle in the condition we picked it up. The rear view mirror fell off twice. We were reimbursed the cost of the extra driver by Alamo on return.

Like: The car totally excellent in condition, and the staff were more than helpful. Thanks

Like: I loved the car. In good condition, low mileage and drove really well. The service from the guys was really good too. Very friendly and went out of their way to help me when I needed anything.
Dislike: The instructions on the approved email may be a bit hazy on pick up procedures. I didn't realize that I can call upon arrival in the country for a pick up. Minor issue as it was located only 20 min walk!
