They lied and said my credit card wasn't working and that it kept declining when they tried to charge the 2000.00 security deposit. i called my CC company in front of them and they told me that there was no transaction being made. They lied and said it declined because they wanted me to pay for insurance when i had proof of my OWN. i fought with him and he showed care in the world. what a shame.

Right cars staff were rude and took forever. I tried to cancel on the spot but was informed that I couldn't because it was past my rental time. Even though I had been there prior to my rental time. I rented through a different company and wont ever even consider right cars again

Tried hard to charge me for lots of stuff I didn't need. Tried to charge me extra for a bigger car because they didn't have the smaller one I reserved. Tried to convince me I needed to pay an exorbitant fee for a toll transponder I didn't need. Etc.

“I was a bit nervous renting a car in the US + incidental $$$”

Like: The shuttle came quickly and was a short trip to the pickup. I was up sold on the insurance although I had already purchased the full package, but they reduced my deposit from $2K to $500 for the economy car. Toll costs were explained well. Return was super easy and I was happy to see NO incidentals on my CC and deposit refunded in full when I got home!
Dislike: I thought the insurance up sell was confusing bc I had already purchased a full package.
