It's actually an Alamo car, and the condition is quite good. The lady at the counter kept recommending things, first insurance, then refueling at the rental location and returning the car with an empty tank, saying it's cheaper. Later on, while driving around the island, I found that the rental fuel was indeed $0.4 cheaper per gallon compared to Waikoloa, $0.1 cheaper than Kailua, and about the same as Hilo's prices. You can take this into consideration.
