The car had numerous small scratches and was very old when picked up. After contacting the company staff, we parked the car in the designated spot the night before and took photos as required (photos taken at return were uploaded, showing no damage as indicated by the rental company). The next day, without any notification, we were charged over 1400 NZD for alleged windshield damage. Since we purchased a super insurance, we are now filing a claim. This experience was terrible compared to our previous rentals with Yesway and Thrifty on the South Island!

Overall the car was good and new but booking was made for 8am pickup however we waited almost 3 hours for Rental office to open which delayed our short trip. Location of rental pick was not easy to find.
