The domestic service was very attentive. In Germany, the procedures were different due to local customs. When picking up the car, we filled out forms, registered information, and paid with a credit card. Then the staff handed us the car key and related documents, along with a small piece of paper in German indicating the parking location. We had to find the car ourselves without any inspection procedures. When returning the car, the AVIS staff asked us to wait. After about 15 minutes, they asked if we were returning the car, and told us to go to the parking garage to hand over the keys. After searching around, we finally found someone to inspect the car. The inspection was thorough; they looked around the car and used instruments to test it. After confirming there were no issues, they took the keys, and we went back to the counter for the final settlement. Fortunately, we had allowed enough time, so our schedule was not delayed. The car was new and in excellent condition, fully equipped with all the features of the top model available domestically, making the driving experience very enjoyable.

Mala experiencia. Nos agregaron gastos que nunca nos dijeron que existirian. "Cargo adicional de oficina" de 60 euros. Seguro de neumaticos por 16 euros. Al final terminamos pagando el doble del precio inicial. Nunca mas utilizaremos Avis. Nos sentimos estafados.

As a member of the AVIS Preferred Plus program i recieved my usual upgrade, this time a triple from group B to Group E (from EDMR to IFMR). The RSA was not able to process a proper contract via their computer system, so it had been printed it and signed manually. The car (Skoda Karoq, medium sized SUV) had a 1.0l turbo-engine, which turned out to be very economical, using only 5.4l/100km petrol on the 900km trip (60% highway with max. 120km/h, 35% country roads, 5% city). Specs you might expect from a diesel but not from a petrol engine.
