This time the car pick-up experience was poor. I arrived at the store early and waited for over an hour with no car available. I had no choice but to settle for a sedan that couldn't fit my luggage. Later, I went to the airport to exchange it, but there were still no cars available, so I had to make do. While the staff at the store were polite, they couldn't resolve the issue.

Avis service was mediocre. The reserved car model was almost unavailable, and I only got a car after strongly insisting and waiting for half an hour. When picking up and returning the car, make sure to take photos of the fuel gauge as evidence, as Avis tends to arbitrarily deduct fuel charges from the deposit.

Avis's service has consistently been excellent, much better than other rental companies. This time, the car was in an underground garage, and the staff helped drive the car up to avoid potential collisions downstairs—very thoughtful.
