The deposit was over 220 euros, but when we returned the car, they inexplicably charged 550 euros, claiming it was for scratches. However, those scratches were already there when we picked up the car, and we even recorded a video as proof. After hearing this, the staff issued us a refund receipt and said the refund would be processed within ten days. But it's been ten days and we still haven't received it!

The service was excellent, with clear explanations.

Very satisfied. The car provided was the same model as the one I reserved, extremely pleased. No hidden charges. Customer service suggested insurance during rental but did not force me to buy it.

Large crowds and long queues. Despite having a reservation, we still had to queue again. Few service counters available, and several rental companies share the same counter.

The rental store was deceptive. My bill at the store was over 1,200 euros, whereas I had already paid more than 500 euros online. I repeatedly confirmed that I had already purchased insurance and did not need additional coverage. The store staff, however, slyly insisted that the extra 700 euros was just a deposit and would be refunded if there were no issues. When returning the car, they claimed I had used the full insurance and signed the contract, so the order was closed and nothing could be done. This is not my first time renting a car in Italy, but it’s the first time I've encountered such a deceptive mandatory insurance practice. This is commercial fraud and I'm very upset, currently negotiating with the rental platform.
