I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH FOX IN SAN JOSE 2 WEEKS EARIER. THIS TIME THERE WERE A NUMBER OF ISSUES 1) IT TOOK 30 MINUTES FOR THE SHUTTLE TO TURN UP FROM LAX 2) THERE WAS A 20 MINUTE WAIT IN THE QUEUE AT FOX 3) THERE WERE NO MIDSIZED SUVS AVAILABLE WHEN I WENT TO SELECT A CAR SO I WAS GIVEN A VERY LARGE JEEP WHICH I FOUND VERY CUMBERSON TO MANOUVRE AND DRIVE. 4) I WAS QUOTED $105? PLUS PETROL @ AROUND $5 PER GALLON. I FELT I WAS RIPPED OFF WHEN CHARGED $150 IN THE END AS THE FUEL GUAGE WAS JUST UNDER FULL!

The process was slow and they did not accept a US driver's license. The only child seat available was a booster. The first car we got had tire issues, and we had to drive a loop to get it replaced. The whole pickup process took two hours.

The service was excellent, no insurance upselling, the paperwork was processed quickly, and adding an additional driver was free of charge. There were about ten brand new SUVs in the large parking lot to choose from. The staff said the keys were in the cars, so you could just drive away with whichever one you liked.
