The deposit refund process was very quick.

Since it was a new car, we didn't inspect it too much. But judging from the logbook at the airport pickup and return point, if it's not a new car, it should be thoroughly checked.

They said the deposit would be refunded in 4-5 working days, but it hasn't been returned yet. They also don't respond to emails.

The rental company staff did not follow the proper procedures and deducted over 1000 RMB from us without sufficient evidence. The communication and coordination by the rental platform were clearly inadequate, and we did not receive any of the requested photos from the rental company. The final result was unsatisfactory and frustrating. Lesson learned: Make sure the rental company follows procedures and take plenty of photos as evidence before renting.
