We were happy with our hire car but did feel surprised to find out about the £1500 deposit payment which although was on the fine print did still come as a surprise.

Goldcar were terrible at arrival! Over 2hrs waiting with 3 children on my own. Rude! Also tried to say the extra insurance with you wasn't enough and that you wouldn't pay out so we had to buy it with them also! Wouldn't use again!

Counter staff very helpful and the colleague at the collection point was really helpful

The car was fine overall but when we needed to clean the windscreen in low sun found no water/screenwash

The car was amazing. The staff at the car park were really friendly and helpful too. But the staff at the desk were not so friendly and also a bit of a mess - a long queue formed and we waited almost an hour even though we arrived with just 2 groups in front of us. Also, I would recommend taking photos of the car beforehand. There was a scratch that was not caused by us but had not been recorded. The blame would have been put on us had I not taken a photo that showed it was there before we left.

Everything was so easy and quick! And the auto rebook was really good.
