Wide selection of vehicles and excellent service

The queue moved quickly and there were no additional sales pitches. Although the selection of models wasn't large, the condition and features of the cars were good.

Alamo on Oahu is about a ten-minute drive from Honolulu International Airport, with a shuttle bus provided by Alamo. However, the driver of the return shuttle to the airport misunderstood our accent and dropped us off at the international departure hall, although we were actually flying with Iceland Air to the Big Island. Iceland Air's counter is next to the Hawaiian Airlines entrance in an inconspicuous row of low buildings. We walked for about fifteen minutes from the international departure hall, asking for directions along the way. Luckily, we had plenty of time, but it was still quite stressful. The wait time in line wasn't long; we were attended to right after the previous customer finished. Since we had just arrived in Hawaii, we weren't very familiar with the car rental process and policies. We asked a lot of questions, and the staff patiently answered all of them. It was our first time picking up a car, so we had many questions about the car's condition. Thanks to the staff's patience, we felt confident enough to start our trip.

Even after buying the most expensive insurance, they still recommended an additional $10 insurance, claiming the one I purchased was not comprehensive enough. Frankly, I have no idea what's missing, but their attitude was relatively good.

The storefront lobby is very clean, offering a seating area for rest. The service is highly efficient. If you don't want to wait in line, you can use the self-service machine, which is very convenient. The staff explanations are very detailed and patient.
