Dislike: That the rate was higher than was what was contracted for. Fortunately, I had printouts and e-mails to prove it. ">

Search for Dollar Car Rentals in San Francisco

Met / Exceeded Expectations

Reviewed: Wed, Jun 6, 2018
About Dollar: 9.6 /10
Like: The car, a Ford Fusion Hybrid, was an excellent, well-designed and maintained piece of equipment. Great car. Rate did not match the reservation rate (it was higher, due to "taxes and fees", but was quickly corrected, once I showed the printout and e-mail, which did include taxes and fees.
Dislike: That the rate was higher than was what was contracted for. Fortunately, I had printouts and e-mails to prove it.

Got lucky this time, the car was brand new, and picking up and returning the car was very convenient. Dollar is located on the first floor.

The waiting time in line wasn't too long, probably because of the timing when I arrived.

The queue was well-organized, and the shared service counter with Thrifty shortened waiting times. The staff had a good attitude and smiled consistently. There was no upselling.
