No need to queue for car pickup, self-service machine at noon, very convenient

This is a large company with a lot of business. I changed my booking to Alamo last minute, and since I originally prepared a translation for another company, I had to use my phone to create a driver's license translation for Alamo. The branch manager helped me print it out, which took some time but was helpful. I wanted to rent a Japanese midsize SUV, but all the midsize options were Jeeps, which was a bit disappointing.

Easy and convenient car pick-up process.

Picked up the car at Orlando airport. When I arrived, Alamo's parking lot had almost no compact size cars left as I reserved, and the clerk kept pushing me to choose a higher category. I ended up with a Chevy Sonic LTZ, which is similar to the Chevrolet Aveo in my country, with a 1.4 T engine. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this small car; its performance was good, and it responded well when accelerating or changing lanes. In fact, its driving performance was better than the Cruze I rented later. However, the car is still a compact size, which feels a bit small in the U.S., unlike driving a larger car which gives more confidence. I recommend renting at least a standard or mid-size car.

Alamo counter Agent Antonio was difficult to deal with and insisted that I had to show him a "British Drivers Licence" for the contract to be valid. Even after I showed him a printed version of the contract specifying that a valid USA or Canadian Driver's Licence was acceptable, he was still difficult, combative and argumentative. informing me, that since I used a British Car Rental Agency, I had to present a British Drivers Licence. How sad !!! Antonio attempted to tell me that my Contract with Easy Car rentals for Alamo was not valid !!!. Finally, I was able to convince Antonio, that my Contract was valid and that his interpretation was in-correct. This was a frustrating experience for me, which was uncalled for. There were other issues with Antonio as well because of his rude attitude.
