My first time renting a car abroad and was happy with the service

Long wait as computer system down. Staff were very pleasant.

Online this company seemed the cheapest but I could only pay a £17 holding deposit for the car. When I completed the booking in Bordeaux the actual cost was equivalent to the other hire companies. The staff were nice & the pick up was in terminal and the car was clean and new.

Checking in a nightmare. Nearly two hours queuing at Bordeaux airport to do check in. Irate customers ended up in aggressive altercation with one of the desk staff, police were called to calm everything down. Our check in lady apologised and was helpful, but overall a ridiculous length of time to pick up a car. Dropping off was easier and customer service pleasant and efficient.

Easy to use

Getting the car seemed to take forever and with 3 small hungry children it was a added stress.there was some some hidden charges and fined if you didn’t bring the car back with a full tank or committed an offence that weren’t stipulated before the hire.

Booking was easy.

Pick up takes too bloody long!!!!!! Too lo g winded process.

Could have mentioned at time of booking that Ace is at the Goldcar desk
