This was my first time renting a car in New Zealand, driving through the South Island from the central route to the eastern route. Over 9 days, I drove more than 1500 kilometers and was very satisfied overall. The hybrid vehicle was fuel-efficient and provided an excellent driving experience, even better than my own gasoline car. Andrew, the staff member at the shop, was extremely helpful and patiently explained everything. He even recommended a local weather forecast app and quickly assisted in answering my questions about snow chains.

The option to return the car at a different location is very convenient, especially since both the pickup and drop-off points are at the airport.
