The Nissan Quest has spacious and comfortable passenger seats, but the trunk is too small; Thrifty's employees did not explain the contract in detail, which led to duplicate charges like insurance.
The service was okay, but there were no staff who spoke Chinese at this car rental company, whereas other rental companies had Chinese-speaking staff, which seemed more convenient. We originally booked a Jeep online but received a RAV4 when we picked up the car, and the paperwork took a long time. The staff asked us to choose a car color; we chose blue but ended up with a white car in the parking lot, wasting time searching for the car. Additionally, I added insurance at the counter, and they said it would be $15 a day for 10 days, totaling $150. We also paid for a full tank of gas upon return, even though I had already filled the tank myself for $40. However, we ended up paying $250.28 for the 10-day rental in San Francisco. We tried calling emergency assistance multiple times but couldn't get through.
The company staff were very nice and helped us resolve some procedural issues. The vehicle was also very new. Everything was wonderful and went smoothly. We will choose this company again next time!
