Car met my expectations and it was a nice drive for the road trip. Thankfully there weren't any issues with the car throughout my 6 days of driving it, and it was reliable in my experience.
About QEEQ:10.0/10
It was my first time using QEEQ after comparing the prices with other websites. It was a very positive experience for me, especially after hearing a lot of horrible experiences with the upsell of insurance over the counter. In my case as I did my booking through QEEQ, everything was sorted out and I got my keys in less than 5 minutes. I'd consider using QEEQ again for my future car rentals!
Our flight was delayed and they closed at 5 PM. With the one-hour time difference between Sydney and Brisbane, no one contacted me. When we arrived, there was no counter at the airport. I had to call the rental company back home and switch to a different company immediately, otherwise, I would've had to come back the next day. I suggest not going for the cheaper, smaller rental companies; they don’t have airport locations and their phones are impossible to reach. In Australia and New Zealand, where people are scarce, one person ends up doing the job of three.
The service is quite good. I encountered some accidents and my English is not very good. The staff at the store were very patient and handled all the procedures for me, reassuring me multiple times that there was no problem and the insurance company would cover the costs, so I didn't need to worry.
The shuttle bus waiting time back to Airport was a bit long, counter waiting time was long as well as only two ladies in-charging the counter for all booking, pick up, return, phone call etc. stuffs
After hours pi k up very poor waited more than 1 hour for pick up from airport.we phoned the office got an answerphone which said go to pick up point .no one came until my son managed to contact an agent in Melbourne.we landed in Brisbane
The customer service person explains well at the counter when we collect the car. And the car is in good condition.
About QEEQ:8.0/10
It should be more clear on the terms and condition that customers should follow. When we collect the car, just realised that there was another 50dollar imposed because we drop off at a different point and the website didnt state it when we pre booking.
