Reducing the waiting time and providing the requested car model

The queue for picking up the car took more than 1.5 hours, even though the pickup time was already scheduled 45 minutes earlier, I still had to wait an additional hour.
I originally requested a Ford Escape but was later told it was unavailable, so I had to take a Jeep Compass instead.

Except for the front desk Indian guy who yelled at us and didn't handle our paperwork until after we had waited, and then he apologized, the rest of the service was quite good.

AVIS is excellent. Both my husband and I drove, and there were no extra charges. However, the previous rental company, ALAMO, charged CAD 10 per day for adding a second driver. At AVIS, the car model we booked was not available, but they found us a much newer 8-seater 6.0L GMC within an hour. It was much better than what we originally reserved, and they didn't charge extra. Very trustworthy!
