I specifically chose a in-terminal location, we had to go from terminal 2 to terminal 1 and when we got there there wasn't anyone at the counter. We had to take all of our luggage and haul it to the Royal hotel where there was another counter and finally could get my car. Service at the counter was good and we ended up upgrading to a larger SUV. The returning area was poorly signaled and I actually had to go on foot to the return area to fetch someone to get my final return procedure
The staff were arrogant when I picked up the car. Despite having no customers, three employees made me wait a long time, saying they needed to finish previous orders first. I rented a seven-seater MPV, but they initially tried to give me a five-seater MG at half the rental cost, falsely claiming there were no seven-seaters available. Only after I argued did they reluctantly give me another customer's seven-seater. Their behavior was disgraceful. They were extremely polite to European customers. It took me an hour to get the car, while a European customer who arrived later got his car in 10 minutes.
The drop-off process was convenient.
The staff at Alamo were much less friendly compared to Hertz and Avis. My husband forgot to bring his own credit card, so we couldn't rent the X5 at all! They said it's a requirement in Victoria that the driver must have their own credit card, and my card wouldn't work either! And yet, when we went to Avis and Hertz, they said there's no issue as long as the credit card holder authorizes the driver and signs an authorization form! I had prepaid all the fees! When I called the rental company, they wouldn't refund my money or let me switch to another car rental company just after six minutes! We lost more than 4,000 RMB! Beware, everyone! Never prepay! Never use Alamo!!!
Very nice car. Hybrid was a great help with petrol consumption. It was a bit of a squeeze with all of our bags from airport, but good space for the rest of our trip with lesser baggage.

I was observing the staff who attended to me and the one next to me.. That customer was from the U. S as u had overheard the conversion.. And was treated way better than I was treated, maybe because of my name and race I suppose I could be wrong but since you ask for feedback I'm just providing it.i was as if I was talking to a robot that's how I felt. Nothing else. I'm from customer service even till now it's very important you make all customers irregardless of who they are must make them feel that they are all very important. Many thanks for asking me.
