Initially, they charged the wrong amount and we haven't received a refund yet. The car provided wasn't the one we originally booked, which felt unfair to us as Chinese customers. After some communication, they finally gave us the car we had booked.

They upsell insurance when picking up the car and commit fraud when returning it. If you rent from them, insist they clean the windshield and then check it carefully with a flashlight! When I returned the car, I had to pay CAD75 for a tiny chip on the windshield that was just a bit larger than a pinhead! If you don't have the patience to inspect, it's better to buy their windshield insurance. Additionally, they target Chinese people! At the same time I returned the car, a foreign customer just handed over the keys and left. When I returned the car, a black man inspected the windshield for 3 minutes and found a tiny chip, forcing me to pay CAD75!

I should appreciate the concern, kindness and support of Nisha and Sunny, the supervisor and their great behaviour and kind advice.

Dislike: We got dropped at domestic wing of the airport despite telling the driver we were going back to London. Other than that the service and car were excellent. Will use again

Like: Don’t let other reviews deter you from renting here at Routes based on location/proximity to airport. The location is plenty close to the airport, the value compared to other big name rental companies is excellent, and all the vehicles we saw and the one we drove are in excellent, super clean condition.
