The car rental company proactively added me on WeChat, which was nice. However, they didn't reach out to coordinate vehicle pickup, which was disappointing. Additionally, they mentioned the eCard fee during pickup, which wasn't ideal. It would be better to provide this information clearly in the system. I noticed two other customers had already mentioned this in their reviews. By the way, in Bali, some people might charge random parking fees—please be cautious about this, even if it’s just a small amount.
A highly satisfying car rental experience, with very quick responses. The car pickup and return locations are both at the airport, which is extremely convenient.
Terrible experience. The rental company kept demanding various fees that were not included when booking the car. After paying the rental fee, additional charges such as delivery fees, return fees, parking card fees, and more were requested at pickup. Furthermore, the deposit was delayed for over a month and a half after returning the car.
Terrible company with no sense of integrity. The car rental experience was awful. They didn't take any photos when I picked up the car, and the inspection staff said everything was fine when I returned it. However, the next day I was notified of scratches on the car and was forced to pay a repair fee of 700,000 IDR. Avoid this kind of shady rental company; the service experience is just too bad!
The pick-up and return locations are actually easy to find, located in the parking lot opposite the terminal. However, there is no fixed service counter, and you need to contact the agent in advance. The service staff has a good attitude; although his English is fairly basic, he managed to communicate everything clearly through gestures and explanations. There were two unexpected aspects: first, the deposit needs to be paid by card, but the refund is given in cash (you can choose between Indonesian Rupiah or US dollars). If refunded in Rupiah, you'll need to find ways to spend it before boarding; if refunded in US dollars, there'll be a currency exchange loss. Second, the IC card used for tolls requires a prepaid fee, and any unused balance will not be refunded.
Almost got accused of vehicle damage fraud. Luckily, I kept a video as evidence during pickup, which prevented the staff from making a wrong judgment during drop-off! Also, the vehicles from this company in Indonesia are relatively old, showing 180,000 kilometers on the odometer. Still, the rental price was cheap. The driving experience was decent.
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
