Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

Original Driver's License in Latin/Roman Alphabet

Original Driver's Licenses printed in Latin/Roman alphabet (such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.) are acceptable for car rental without the need for an International Driving Permit (IDP). Driver's licenses printed in a non-Roman alphabet (such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit.

Vehicles rented in the United States can be driven into Canada, with the exception of 12 or 15 passenger vans,cargo van，luxury cars but must be returned to the United States unless Renter has pre-arranged with Provider to drop the vehicle off at one of Provider’s approved locations in Canada whereby a transborder fee may apply. Car was big and sufficient in size. It took around 40 mins to get into the car as they wanted to upgrade the car but the price started at 95 dollars a day. We said we would only consider an extra 25 dollars and the lowest they would offer was 40 dollars. Only extra was that the upgrade was a 4 wheel drive.

The staff were very enthusiastic. The clerk recommended collision damage insurance for $15 a day. Considering it was my first trip, I decided to buy it. Changing cars was very convenient. At the car rental center next to the Las Vegas airport, I found the Alamo area. I drove in, the staff checked the car's exterior, scanned the barcode, and the additional insurance fee was charged.
