Very good, no upselling as commonly mentioned, there was a $200 deposit that was promptly refunded, charges were strictly according to the price on QEEQ website, no extra charges for car swaps as they arrange based on the same model.
Avis were great except for the initial pickup. There was a long wait for the shuttle bus and the counter was very busy and very slow - under manned? However, no hard sell of extras, just took the card deposit and handed over the keys.
Pretty standard company overall, but the lines are really long. The Avis counter at DTW shares the space with Budget, so stay alert while you’re in line.
