Car was an upgrade and was excellent Counter staff were courteous Queue was a bit long- but would have been less if we had gone at 9.00 a.m ( a lesson learned for us)

Everything was very straightforward

Our car had two small scratches, about 3 to 4 centimeters, behind the headlight on the passenger side, likely caused by stones kicked up from the highway. The rental company mentioned that any damage might cost 2000 NZD. Due to my poor English, we first called the QEEQ New Zealand customer service. The representative, an English-speaking woman, listened to my description and advised me to call the rental company to report the incident (I didn't understand why it was considered an incident). When we returned the car a few days later, the rental company asked if there had been an accident. We clarified that it was just scratched. Eventually, they agreed it was a minor issue and did not charge us. However, the communication from QEEQ's customer service with the rental company was completely off because we never said there was an accident, only minor scratches.

Car certainly was not new. A lot of wear and tear inside the cabin was evident.
