Great car, shame about the pick up at hertz

Quick and easy car rental without unnecessary chatter or hidden fees.

Upgraded to an X3 with additional payment. The car was new and easy to drive. No thorough check was done during drop-off.

On the third day after getting the car, the tire pressure warning light came on. We quickly got off the highway and found a Hertz location at a nearby hotel. The staff quickly measured the tire pressure and added air. She suggested that the dashboard is very sensitive to slightly low tire pressure, but it should be fine after adding air. If we insisted on changing the car, we could do so at the airport branch, but her location couldn’t handle it. We trusted her advice, and for the next five days, we had no issues. We didn't buy the E-toll, and received a toll charge notification within ten days after using the highways. The toll and rental company's management fee were not high. Personally, I think unless you use the highway multiple times daily, not buying the E-toll and paying per use is more cost-effective.

Hertz's car condition was good, and the car was very clean when I picked it up. Both picking up and dropping off the car were very convenient. However, when renting a car in the US, you must check the tire pressure. It's best to go to a gas station to inflate the tires. During the first week, I felt that the car's road feel was very poor. At a gas station, I discovered that the tire pressure was seriously insufficient! The price on QEEQ's order was significantly different from the actual price, over $100 more, apparently due to taxes and fees. Being unfamiliar with the area, I just had to accept it.

My card wouldn't swipe and the lady at the counter was prepared to let me go without. Couldn't manually enter the card and their chip reader didn't work. No Manager on site amd had to wait for one to call back in. Once they did, my card was entered manually no problem. I had to wait while she helped other customers. My little girl was crying because she thought we would have to just go back home. No apology when it was resolved.
