The vehicle was in good condition, a nearly new car with only 20,000 kilometers.

The car wasn't very new, with an odometer reading of 13,000 kilometers that had clearly been altered. At pickup, I was given a Honda City with wheels produced in 2016. The left front tire had two deep 3mm dents, posing a high risk of a blowout, so I refused to take it. They offered me a Perodua instead, and after replacing the tires the next day, I drove from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh to switch cars.

The car rental guy was already waiting at the pickup point, making the process very convenient.
