The car was very old, but this has its advantage as new scratches weren't noticeable.

Mixed feelings. On the positive side, the car was in good condition, return was smooth, and when an insured accident happened, they processed the paperwork and provided a replacement car of the same model with no issues. On the negative side: the airport shuttle bus comes every 20 minutes, we waited 40 minutes for our car, and it wasn't ready even though we arrived an hour later than our scheduled pick-up time. We had to ask twice before they could locate the car. Other than that, everything else was alright and the prices were reasonable.

The car pickup location is not inside the airport. Despite providing my flight information, there was no one to pick me up upon arrival. I wandered around the airport and asked many people, including police officers, but no one knew where the America car rental office was. I had to call them, and only then did they come to pick me up. When picking up the car, I emphasized multiple times that I would return the car at 4 AM and asked if there would be any staff available. The office assured me that it would be open 24 hours and there would be staff present. However, when I went to return the car, the office was closed and there was no one around. I had to leave the car at the pickup location and throw the keys through a crack in the door. I later called them after landing in Los Angeles to confirm the return.

The service at American rent a car was terrible Rude nasty stupid .... never get pick up from air port have to pay a taxi cab ....... over charge on the price.... drunk guy in the counter......
