The worst car rental experience I have ever had. An absurdly disorganized pick up that took close to an hour. Then the woman at the front desk insisted I pay a refuelling fee of €23, even though I said I would refill the tank before returning! She said, "if you don't like it, rent somewhere else". I will never deal with Goldcar again, I don't know how they are still in business.

Want my money back please. This people are Thieves. Wanted to charge $140 on top of what i hace already paid. Wanted to charge $2000 to my credit card and block it. All this for a 12 hour car rent. Goldcar. Horrible service, tried to take advantage of you. Never use this Rent-a-Car Service. Thieves! I didnt use their service at the end. Went with AVIS. More serious people.

Hello. Im renting another car today with you guys (AVIS) because of the horrible experience i had yesterday with the thieves at GOLDCAR. Rented for $25 a day. GoldCar said i have to pay $150 a day. They blamed on you. Would you please refund the money for the “rental” i didnt do yesterday. (Ref 71452633). I’ve want to make a compaint about the services of Goldcar from Barahas AirPort Madrid . When I’ve arrived today morning to pick up the car they said that I have to pay for the car the following taxes:65 euro insurence or 2000 euro depozit although I’ve paid full insurence on the kayak site, 35 euro fuel tax, 118 euro fuel depozit. The employees of GoldCar acted very unprofessionel with me, they didn’t help me to get in touch with you to resolve the situation, they said they I have to search for your phone number myself, and I didn’t find out, they said I can’t understand. All these made me to give up their services and book a hotel room, because I have a flight in next 24 hours.

The car was fine just covered with scratches and scuffs! Absolute rip off with the guy at pick up insisting that I take full insurance before letting me have the keys for a car that was already damaged! Ridiculous. Will never use this firm again.
