I am still waiting on my bond to be refunded it has now been 4 business days and nothing has come through. I had a great experience with staff and picking up the car and dropping off but now that I am chasing my bond refund no one seems to be responding to my emails or getting back to me which is really disappointing
The car has already run over 110,000 kilometers. The key issue is that at a speed of 85 km/h, the car becomes unstable. Initially thought of changing it in Taupo, but it turns out the only location is in Auckland! Wasted phone expenses, and the person who answered said yes, the car shakes above 85 km/h. They knowingly rented out a car in bad condition! I was dissatisfied throughout the journey.
Car had a dead battery and cobwebs inside hood. Had an after hour pickup scheduled and paid for. Emergency no went unanswered. Pickup location jump started car. But it died again on reaching hotel. Next day was Sunday. Again no one answered phone. 3rd day a person came and replaced battery at 3pm. Wasted 2.5 days of trip.
